Submitted by Andrei Kozlov on Mon, 2009-06-01 21:25.myNotes 1.4.12 – Critical Update
Submitted by Andrei Kozlov on Tue, 2008-02-19 04:37.This update fixes a critical bug that could prevent users from accessing their notes after updating to Mac OS X 10.5.2. Recommended for ALL myNotes users. Don't skip this update.
If you installed Mac OS X 10.5.2 and can't see your notes, follow these steps to restore notes from backup:
1. Quit myNotes if running.
2. Go to your Home/Library/Application Support/myNotes/Backup folder.
3. Find a recent backup file of more than at least a few Kb in size (anything less than 5-10 Kb doesn't contain any notes)
4. Copy this file to Home/Library/Application Support/myNotes folder and rename it to Data.mynotes (move old data file to Trash)
5. Install myNotes 1.4.12 and launch.
